every summer of
my life...  the smell
of mown grass

a drift of song.

Patches of blue -
the sky smiles, blinks
and closes.

Watching beauty sleep,
light on his velvet coat,
my heart leaps.

wine tasting, strictly
by invitation.

No early alarm -
my soft bed
